Nevertheless, assuming Ben Wheatley is still attached to Tomb Raider 2, is that being prioritized or The Meg 2? Considering that The Meg made a much commercial bigger splash than Tomb Raider did, perhaps that’ll give The Meg 2 the edge, but for now, it’s unclear. In any case, for those of you who’d wondered if The Meg 2 had perhaps been quietly shelved, now there’s evidence to the contrary.
Eventually, the purpose of the music shifted and became a full-fledged piece of musical theater. Lin-Manuel Miranda began the process of workshopping the show in various forms, including “The Hamilton Mixtape,” which Leslie Odom Jr. was invited to see.
Kerry Washington (Zahra Moss)
The “youngest and prettiest” of Richard Moss’s three wives, Zahra, like Harry Balter, also finds tragedy after a terrible event befalls their walled-in community. At first, Lauren doesn’t trust her, but she learns to see her as one of her most trusted allies once they make their journey across America for greener pastures that most likely don’t even exist.
Kerry Washington plays characters who have tough exteriors because they have to, even though they’re quite fragile on the inside. Most will remember her from Scandal as crisis expert, Olivia Pope, but I remember her most as Broomhilda von Shaft in Django Unchained. I love Washington in this role since she seems brittle and like she might crumble, but there’s a power within her that will always surprise you. Just like Zahra herself.
The 49-year-old Mark Wahlberg recently posted a brief video in which he emphatically told viewers, “Don’t ask!” But what was most notable about the clip is that he was sporting slicked back hair and a mustache. As he’s currently on the set of Uncharted, many assume that this will indeed be the look he’ll be sporting for his role as Sully. Check out the video for yourself below:
So it may come as a surprise that he was able to stay fairly low key as he graduated and moved onto a new phase in his career. During the course of his tenure with the Harry Potter franchise, he lost a considerable amount of weight, which helped him shed some immediate recognizability. He told People that this ended up working in his favor:
Reviews of the first Borat movie were almost universally positive with many giving the film near perfect scores. Reviews of the Subsequent Moviefilm have been mostly positive though not so complimentary. There is definitely a loss of originality that comes from going to the same well twice, but the movie still finds ways to shock and surprise. Borat’s daughter, played by the delightful Maria Bakalova, is a wonderful addition, and the more topical humor will no doubt please some while turning off others.
You can watch the entire movie, which includes the much discussed Rudy Giuliani scene, for free on Amazon Prime right now. I wouldn’t recommend it for everyone, but if you enjoy cringe humor and aren’t turned off by graphic material, you’ll have a good time.
The Hillsborough Republican Women’s Club Meeting
Audiences going in to Borat 2 know what Sacha Baron Cohen is capable of comedically, but the big revelation of the film is the outrageous talent of co-star Maria Bakalova, who proves incredibly gifted when it comes to doing what it is that Cohen does so well. The Hillsborough Republican Women’s Club meeting is the perfect example, as it’s a moment that Tutar carries entirely on her own, and it’s screamingly funny. After spending almost the entire movie afraid of her own genitalia, the teenage girl ends up espousing the wonders of masturbation to a group of conservative women, and the reactions she gets from the room are priceless – ending with the brilliance of “Someone call her an Uber.”
However, dogs are also limited in that they’re not allowed to go into certain places. We see this several times in the movie, like when Enzo isn’t permitted at the hospital, at the funeral, and in the courtroom. Dogs also can’t speak, so they can be misunderstood and sometimes feel helpless, as shown when Enzo can’t warn the family about Eve (Amanda Seyfried)’s illness.
The Art of Racing in the Rain taking the point-of-view of Enzo allows the audience to explore and learn about human behavior along with the dog. It allows the viewers to take a more simplistic approach, to just observe and watch, without the complications that come with human observation–like overanalyzing.
As audiences will remember, Nicole Kidman naturally has curly locks, which she no longer dons quite as often due to some hair damage. The actress was pressured enough to straighten her hair that it sounds as though her curly-haired days are over. It’s a word from the wise, embrace your beautiful curls if you have them!
Filmmaking is hardly ever easy, which is definitely true when it comes to a massive blockbuster film, but such a task is even more difficult in the age of COVID-19. Cretton, Liu and their collaborators have to be proud of being able to finally finish shooting, especially considering the obstacles they had to face early on.
