There’s no telling what’s in store for Claire in Jurassic World: Dominion, but the possibilities are seemingly endless. After all, the twist ending of Fallen Kingdom saw the dinosaurs released into the wild on the mainland, forcing the resurrected creates and humans together. Colin Trevorrow’s short film Battle at Big Rock showed off this new world, check it out below.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 was originally set to be one of the first installments in Phase Four, but James Gunn’s (temporary) firing by Disney resulted in the threequel being delayed a number of years. That highly anticipated movie is now arriving in 2023, years after Gunn initially finished his draft of the script. Dave Bautista’s Drax has become a beloved hero of the MCU during his time on the big screen, and the wrestler turned actor recently spoke to how the third Guardians flick might change from its inception, saying:
In the course of researching for my interview on behalf of Songbird’s release, I’d discovered that Michael Bay’s involvement with the film reached a little further than I’d expected. When the time came to discuss the film with co-writer/director Adam Mason for CinemaBlend, I needed to ask him more about the work that Bay had done with the film, and he gave me a lot of insight into that particular aspect. Mason began his story with just how, and why, Michael Bay became a fixture on set:
Among the actors who make up the Wolfwalkers cast, Sean Bean is, admittedly, one name you are most likely to recognize. However, he is just one voice out of many to take note of when streaming the AppleTV+ original film.
Directed by Tomm Moore and Ross Stewart, the animated movie follows a young girl aspiring to be a hunter just like her father, who has been tasked to eliminate a pack of wolves for an Irish village in the mid-17th Century. However, she has a change of heart after befriending a girl from a tribe of humans known as “wolfwalkers,” who are not only said to be able to communicate with, but actually take the form of the animal by night. Things become even more complicated when she finds herself becoming one of them.
It is difficult to argue with Denis Villeneuve’s case for Dune remaining a theatrical experience, especially when he’s putting Dune above the rest of his stellar filmography. Projects like Arrival, Prisoners, and Blade Runner 2049 are nothing to sniff at, so seeing this man put Dune above all else is quite a huge claim. The trailer that debuted not too long ago is all the proof you need that this is absolutely a movie that needs to be seen in a theatrical context. Reading how Mr. Villeneuve is upset that the work he, his cast, and his crew has done for three years of production will be headed to homes much earlier than intended, one can sympathize. Just thinking about it makes us want to watch that trailer again, and you can do that below,
That makes sense, as humor is often used as a way of coping with tragedy. Many find that making light of something makes it more digestible, which can help open the conversation. The approach worked, too, because Half Brothers is not lacking in the laugh department. For those going in with misconceptions about one country or the other, there’s a lot to learn from this film, and as the filmmakers hoped, a lot to discuss after viewing.
For being the largest theme park destination, and one of the top vacation spots in the world, Walt Disney World has proven itself to be incredibly nimble when it comes to constantly adjusting the way it handles health and safety during the pandemic. The parks reopened with temperature checks and mask requirements in place, but since then we’ve seen new measures added regularly as the parks better understand the virus as well as guest behavior. Previously, one of the ways that Disney encouraged people to keep their masks on was to prevent access to ride photos if guests were not wearing them. However, it now seems the parks have taken things a step further, by adding masks to the faces of anybody that did not have them on.
Pixar Chief Creative Officer/story wizard Pete Docter announced the project during today’s Disney investor presentation, and the timing couldn’t have been sweeter. Naturally, there’s not a lot of plot details for Lightyear, save for one crucial piece of information: Chris Evans’ iteration of Buzz Lightyear is going to not only exist in the reality that Buzz once imagined for himself, we’re going to see his pre-Star Command days in action. Merely a test pilot at this point, his maverick ways will help him become the hero we know and love.

It is not too much of stretch to imagine Meryl Streep and her pal Nicole Kidman starring in a new, old-fashioned musical, yet seeing Keegan-Michael Key in the ensemble is unexpected – but welcome, nonetheless. However, those women are not the only veterans to the genre and the comedian is far from the last surprise in The Prom cast.
Directed by Glee co-creator Ryan Murphy, the film is based on a Tony-nominated hit stage show of the same name that was actually inspired by a heartwarming true story. It focuses on an Indiana teenager whose plea to take her girlfriend to the annual school dance convinces the conservative school board to cancel the event entirely. Upon hearing the news, a quartet of theater actors suffering from their own personal crises decide to give the lonely student a chance to be herself by organizing their own prom.
