While my own child has never eaten liver or bone marrow, that’s only because those aren’t the sorts of things that tend to be eaten in my house at all. Of course, maybe if I’d been eating bone marrow and liver at a year old, I would be eating more of it now. And really, these things are high in a lot of vitamins and the protein that growing kids need, so while Diaz’s choices certainly sound a little wild, they also make a lot of sense.
On the one hand, this scene where all the people are bowing to the little hobbits makes sense as the last thing the actors might film. Although, to hear Sean Astin explain it, the scene was actually somewhat unusual. The hobbits are actually just standing in front of green screen so the crowd surrounding them doesn’t exist. It was, in the end, an incredibly simple thing for the hobbit actors to shoot, which is perhaps why it was left for last, though the circumstances sound less than perfect. Astin goes on…
Of course, the most iconic actor to play Magneto is the OG from the movies: Sir Ian Mckellen. The legendary actor played the villain in four installments of the X-Men franchise, ending with Days of Future Past. That movie also featured the new class of stars, including the most recent live-action Magneto played by Michael Fassbender. Fassbender has his own four-movie run, which came to an end with Dark Phoenix.
It’s no secret that Disney has been hit hard by the global pandemic. The movie business has been struggling with no box office to lean on and the theme parks spent months closed, and now they’re either open to a much smaller capacity, or in the case of Disneyland, still basically closed. The financial toll has been in the billions of dollars, and so it was little surprise when Disney announced significant layoffs in the Parks, Experiences, and Products division. However, a recent filing with the Securities & Exchange Commission has revealed that the proposed layoffs will be even larger than originally announced.
J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter franchise has been entertaining audiences for decades, and is showing no signs of slowing down. The property continues to expand with theme parks, stage plays, and the Fantastic Beasts movies. Director Chris Columbus helped to kickstart the Harry Potter films, directing the first two installments and going on to serve as a producer for the third. And while he originally wanted to return to helm the two-part Deathly Hallows films, Columbus recently explained why he’s glad this didn’t work out.
After first being introduced to Tatooine, and then Jakku, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker gave us Pasaana, another planet that was basically nothing but sand and rock. It seems most of the galaxy far, far, away must be desert planets, but we almost got something very different out of Pasaana, as concept art just released shows off a Pasaana that couldn’t be more different, as it was covered in water. Check it out.
As for Brian Austin Green himself, the same report indicates that he’s agreeable to the terms that Megan Fox put forward in her divorce paperwork. That is for one exception, as he apparently wants spousal support still on the table. We’ll just have to see how this all shakes out, and if the two actors settle their agreement in or out of court.
Ana de Armas (Marta Cabrera)

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has become a well-oiled machine over the years, with every single installment in Phase Three being a critical and box office success. This includes both Spider-Man movies, which debuted Tom Holland’s version of Peter Parker. The next slate of movies is sure to expand the universe in a major way, especially with Strange serving as Spider-Man’s mentor in the upcoming threequel. And now OG Doctor Strange director Scott Derrickson has shut down one rumor about that project.
