Vin Diesel Is Hyping Us For The Next Pitch Black Sequel In New Shirtless Post

Not only is the star shirtless, but he’s also holding a weapon forged from a giant bone, which presumably belonged to a giant alien the character defeated. It’s exciting to hear that Vin Diesel had an “incredible meeting” about Riddick, so an update could be coming very soon. One would hope that a studio has finally given the sequel an official green light or, at the very least, work has begun on a screenplay.

It seems she’s going to be spending a good amount of time with Adam Sandler, though, as It sounds like the pair are going to get up to even more shenanigans in the sequel, and David Spade will even join in on the fun. Given his presence on the video call, one would assume that he’s going to be playing a nice comedic role alongside the others.

Filming X-Men: Apocalypse Sounds Like It Was Horrible For Oscar Isaac

Before he begins his next foray into a Disney franchise, though, Oscar Isaac is keeping busy on multiple fronts. He’s doing promotional duties for two high-profile projects: Dune, which he personally believes is a “masterpiece,” and HBO’s Scenes From a Marriage, which resulted in a viral red carpet moment between himself and longtime friend and co-star Jessica Chastain. The man certainly knows how to keep our attention, regardless of how many pounds of blue latex he’s wearing.

A very light spoiler for The Many Saints of Newark lies ahead.

The Many Saints of Newark manages to expand on the universe David Chase launched years ago with The Sopranos. While the film isn’t a contemporary story, it still feels like a natural extension of the HBO series. This can partly be attributed to the fact that the movie is helmed by veteran Sopranos director Alan Taylor. The filmmaker had no problem stepping back into the franchise, but his directing experience here did differ from his past work in two key ways.

Clint Eastwood Talks The Best Day Filming Cry Macho And How Covid Was Involved

The famed actor and director has been making movies for decades, so he is surely no stranger to facing unique challenges on a film set. Still, it’s safe to say this was probably the first time that a pandemic posed a threat to one of his projects being completed the way it was originally envisioned. That’s especially true since the film was first brought to Eastwood as a potential directorial project in the late 1980s. He told the Los Angeles Times that back then, he thought he was too young to play the role of a retired rodeo star who takes on the task of reuniting a father with his son. He also mentioned that at the time, other actors’ participation fell through as well.

Disney Head Honcho Bob Chapek Talks Fast Pass Replacement And Why He Thinks It’s A Positive

Well, our goal is to improve the guest experience, while at the same time being able to yield that in ways that we haven’t done before. And again, the shutdown enabled us a chance to sort of reengineer things and build the systems necessary to do that. The backbone of the whole thing though is our reservation system because it gives us the ability now to really on a real-time basis, direct people, ensure that we have the right mix of guests in the park and control the demand in ways that frankly we’ve never been able to do that then enables all the consumer interfaces that we’ve recently put in place, things like Genie either the free part of Genie, the complementary, if you will, part of Genie that’s going to improve everyone’s visit to our parks and ensure that they minimize wait times and maximize the fun, if you will.

Jamie Foxx Wants To Remake A Stephen King Movie With A Black Lead

The star didn’t elaborate much more on just how that experience would inform his retelling of Stephen King’s Misery— but it’s definitely intriguing to imagine how a story like that might unfold. Misery was published in 1987 and tells the story of romance novelist Paul Sheldon, who is seemingly saved from the wreckage of a car accident by Annie Wilkes, a nurse who just happens to be his “biggest fan.” But when he realizes he’s being held captive by her, he must act quickly to stay alive.
